Notes:

We are also launching today a compendium and user guide to Unctad’s work on issues of technology for development 1975-2001.

This compendium contains more than 400 reports and studies as well as other titles organized by major themes, including but not limited to the following:

-international conventions, arrangements, code of conduct

-channels, mechanisms and best practices for technology transfer;

-acquisition and absorption of new technologies, including information and communication technologies, biotechnology;

-technology partnerships;

-intellectual property rights and protection of traditional knowledge,

-collected works of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology.

These works can also be accessed by date of publication, as well as their position within the framework of major development and technology paradigms.
