COMMISSION ON SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR DEVELOPMENT (CSTD)

Substantive themes addressed by the Commission

At each regular session, the Commission determines the priorities and substantive themes to be considered by its members and the substantive support to be provided by the Secretariat during the inter-sessional period. An important criterion for choosing substantive themes is that the themes and the work thereon should be timely and directed at the broad interests of the organisations of the United Nations system.
